Absolutely. Our little Jack is the light of our lives, and the utter bane of the postman's. He knows no fear in defending us against vile unwarranted 'postal attack' every day.

YEY!!!! A fellow JR lover!!! I know what you mean about the light of your lives, TOTALLY! What's his name and what's he like? Once you've had a Jack, you'll never have another breed! Check this link out, you may have seen it but, hey, it just had to be a JRT didn't it! You'll LOVE it!

Re: What's your.......Favourite Breed of Dog?

All the above sound lovely...but Border Terriers are my favs. Have had two in the past, but sadly can't have one where I am living at present. Good all rounders I say, convenient size, clean little chaps, and full of character, [my two were as different as chalk and cheese!] Just love their little faces.
I also agree with a previous post about re-homing unwanted dogs, but I'm sure if I went to a rescue place, I would want to take home more than one!!

Re: What's your.......Favourite Breed of Dog?

I don't speak from owner experience but I want a dog to be a dog .. I wouldn't seek to own a dog but if you twisted my arm, then I would say an Irish Wolfhound. I also like Afgahn Hounds .. and the Borzoi and Saluki.

Wink Re: What's your.......Favourite Breed of Dog?

My problem is that im a bit soft, so i always end up with the lap-dog type dogs! I love Terriers (Yorkie or West Higland White) and X-Breeds. X-Breeds are interesting because they often more well-tempered then pedigree pure breeds

Yes, if you have a dog, be serious - wolfhound or a lurcher ...

Re: What's your.......Favourite Breed of Dog?

I like the good old mutt they are usually really nice friendly dogs and don't have any problems you can get with the pedigree dogs something scuffy with a bit of collie thrown in would do for me
