They are mites- plenty around this year- I've seen them on various insects + harvestmen. |

fantastic....you just answered this for me /us at the Kent wildlife trust....one of the common blue i caught during our butterfly survey last week at queendown warren had one of these red face huggers.....as we didnt know what it was we decided he had a new lip piercing he was showing off !  |  | |
