Wow the site has grown HUGE!!!

Hi to everyone that remembers me

It's been quite a while since I was last on here. Now hopefully I can join in again, now I have Broadband!!!!!!!!

I am still doing wildlife rehab and things are VERY busy here at the moment. Had quite a few exciting bats in (my recognition is now getting good....I rely on wing venation patterns to distinguish the different pipistrelles!!!!!) Still no bat licence but I'm ever hopeful!!!
So how is everyone ???? Anyone doing anything exciting??
Catch up hopefully soon, and I have a few more photos to add when I find the time!
Jo

Hi Tragus

Glad you are back with us. We did think that maybe it was pressure of work why you weren't logging on. Anyway hopefully you will find time to start your diary again.

Regards

wildone

Re: Wow the site has grown HUGE!!!

Apologies for not catching up with this thread
The site seems to be moving really fast now. Lord knows how I'll keep up!

Thank you Kev and Ollie, I'm going to have fun checking out all your photo's, but it may take me some time!!!

Thanks sammy Good to see you are still here!! Hopefully I will be updating my Diary in the not too distant future, that's if I ever manage to get any sleep

Thanks Nightshade... The wing venation stuff is actually down just to me!!! I'm self training, as bats come in, I take photos and I now have a file on different bats. So far the wing venation is only useful for me with identifying Pipistrelles. It's actually very interesting, however I do have one that is neither, common, Soprano or Nathusius!!!!!! Currently I am awaiting identification, as it could be a juvenile Nathusius, Experts disagree and agree equally!!

Thanks Cherrybee, Eeyore and Wolfhill, Boddie (how come you knew it was me Ahhh I know it must have been the exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!)

And finally thanks Alan...You don't know how much I would LOVE to move to Mull. I Sooooo nearly didn't come back. Aahhhh there's always next year and maybe this time I can go for the tagging of the Sea Eagles!!!!!

thanks once again all for your messages and welcome's back
Jo
