Re: In my garden at the moment............

Very little, a few flies and grasshoppers but not much else. I've not heard bird song for a few days. It's like a desert out there and I would be interested to know what's going on. Next door is a beautiful garden filled with flowers of every shape and size in full bloom. Normally it would be alive with hoverflies, bees, bumbles, and butterflies but I can't see a single pair of wings out there...

Your generosity is overwhelming how could I possible refuse an offer like that.
Does it come with instructions on how to feed the greenfly

Oh yes the value of a instruction book in keeping these animals is not to be underestimated - if you're lucky and you manage to keep the conditions just right they may actually breed too......

Re: In my garden at the moment............

In my garden at the moment there's probably a White tailed fish Eagle gazing into the pond in a perfect pose and position for a prize winning photograph.

Unfortunately I too am at work

I have got a big plastic plant in my office though, so if anyone's got any plastic greenfly they can spare it'd be much appreciated.

Re: In my garden at the moment............

I don't have a garden but I have seen a Sparrowhawk and Heron fly past my second floor flat window within the last hour .

Actually, being so high up, I do get some good views of "fly by" birds but I really do wish that I had a large wildlife garden bordering open countryside or a wood ....

Thats nine wasps then Gill How do you guys manage to post when at work I try to sneak a quick peek on the site from time to time and someone always walks in the office . I'm doing something wrong .

Sorry Mully only just copped the thread and it's pitch black in the garden now, but I can almost guarantee 30-40 snails in the yard which I will need to be careful of when I go to lock up. crunch
