My manor

Now I am obviously not pinpointing my house but thought it would be a bit of fun just to show you the area where I live on Google Earth

52°35'6.04"N

1°52'20.99"W

As you can see I have a fantastic 2,000 acre park literally at the top of my driveway. In the park is two 18 hole golf courses. There is a further championship course 600 yards from my front door, (in the estate with all of the outdoor swimming pools) and the Belfry is 6 or so miles away. I have maybe 8 courses within 4 miles.

The park yields plenty of superb wildlife and there are a number of lakes within its grounds. This park is situated north of Birmingham and technically I live in Staffs, but I tend to say I live in Birmingham as nobody knows where Little Aston is.

Everybody scoffs when I say I am from Brum.

Little do they know

Re: My manor

Do you have Google Earth?

You can pin point your gaff then post the co-ordinates

Could be fun if a few more did this. Probably not your exact house, for security reasons, but just the general idea

Yep I have the park to the east and countryside north and north east really. I have good access for motorways, with the toll road nearby, so I can get anywhere in no time at all

It does require quite a powerful machine, plus broadband of course. The windows minimum spec is:
Operating System: Windows 2000 or Windows XP
CPU: Pentium 3, 500Mhz
System Memory (RAM): 128MB
Hard Disk: 400MB free space
Network Speed: 128 Kbits/sec
Graphics Card: 3D-capable with 16MB of VRAM
Screen: 1024x768, "16-bit High Color"

Hope that helps.
