| | | Re: Freedom of information........ I agree too, I only do about 8000 a year and that is in a landrover which really struggles to get to the speed limit, so I have never had any points. I do feel for people who do lots of miles as they have to watch their speedo all the time instead of the road and that aint good. |

Funny how there are less deaths on German roads.
Germans are far better drivers, far more aware of the road and others on it. Same in Belgium whereby I used to drive at up to 155 in a seven series and no-one bat an eyelid. Again 155 in Italy in a five, again with no response and in the UK people looked at me gone out on the A46 when I was doing 146 in a VR6 |

I dont do it any more because i have to maintain a clean (3 points or less) licence for my job, IMHO the police should forget speeders per se and concentrate on nicking idiots who drive dangerously regardless of how fast they are going.
