Poorly lady on WAB and it is me 
What I thought was Policemans Heel has turned out to be Thrombosis, I also have some clots in my lungs.
I spent yesterday at the hosp and have to go back to-morrow (fri) for the day.
I have had terrible trouble walking and now I know why
I haven't even been on the reserve all week
Thought I'd let you all know  |

Oh blimey Teresa-that's not good. Hope you get better soon and get out on those Suffolk reserves while we have something that resembles good weather.

Thank you people for all your well wishes
I think I am so lucky to be alive and I am grateful for our health service, the assessment ward I have spent the last two days on is marvellous
Am now on plenty of heparin and warfarin and a rapid response team will be calling at the house daily to dose me up and keep me alive

Great news! Please look after yourself - it might be tough going for a little while your body adjusts and while the dosage is high, but you will get there

As a fellow thrombosis sufferer, I DO know how you are feeling!!
I had the first thrombosis after the birth of my first child 27 years ago but didn't realise what it was. My Doctor was very good but horrified that I had suffered for weeks before seeking help!
I soon learned how to self inject with Heparin I can tell you!!!!
I'm sure that you will now be fine as you've got the correct diagnosis and treatment.
