cat problem

hi, im not sure if i have posted this in the correct place ??
i am having problems with cats doing there business in my garden.
some time ago i bought two of the electronic deterrents but they dont work very well. they also kill quite a few birds, i dont dislike cats but it is anoying when i have to clean up after them all the time. i live on quite a large estate so there seem to be lots of cats around the area, i dont know who the owners are so i cant speak to them about it (not that it would make any difference). also im allergic to cats so i dont really want them near me.
any advice would be gratefully received.

You should try and find it there are some helpful tips on there.
