Wink Attenshun Kevin's

Has anybody else noticed the abnormally high number of “Kevs” on this site.

Admin : Can I get my user name changed by deed poll or whatever to “Captain Kev”, this would reflect my natural leadership talents.

Meanwhile, could we do a poll?, all you “Kevin’s” post on here to air your views on the obvious superiority of the Kev person in all things Wildlife orientated.
Of course inferior named members may post on this thread as well, (us Kevs are good & kind like that) just don’t entertain any notions of usurping the title “most popular”.

The name is Gaelic/Celtic in origin and means “Handsome beloved”, which is quite apt and me all over.
There is also a saint Kevin of Ireland, I’m just amazed their isn’t more!.

Diversing a bit, I know it looks as though I only have a few posts but it’s just that I have been around the clock and have started at 1 again (diversing over).

Of course I realise that anyone reading this who hasn’t been blessed with the sought after name "Kevin" may want / nay will want to change their name to the aforementioned mighty popular Kevin in order not to overburden themselves with the trivial title that they already have. But I say, learn to live with the slightly amusing name you have, you will get over the ridicule eventually.

And Ladies I know you're feeling left out as well, God deemed to make the Kev word a bit male orientated to reflect the mighty and great leaders of men among the otherwise bland named underlings. But rejoice in the fact that there are Kevin’s galore on this site just waiting to scoop you off your feet and treat you the way you deserve as only “Kevins” can. (just like in that film “An officer & a gentlemen” with Richard Gere which would obviously have been better with “Kevin Costner” in the main role.

Yours Sincerely Kevin

OK fire away

Hi Kev
I think you left out the fact that Kev's are modest. I'm probebly the most modest Kev you will ever meet. The king of modesty infact.

Kev

And how do you know that there is an off feet scooping deficit here anyway - Many of us gentlemen rely on our suave good looks and subtle and manly charm rather than our names..... though come to think of it the manly charm hasnt worked to well of late ... may be its a bit too subtle

It's probebly due to the power of television advertising but....
Isn't Bev the female version of Kev?

Re: Attenshun Kevin's

aah Sticky I bow to your overwhelming common sense, decency & wit, and I bet you do a lot for charity but don't like to talk about it as well.

Bev is of course a feeble attempt by the female persuasion to cash in on our popularity while at the same time acknowledging their hero worship of us. Being Kev's we always forgive them don't we.

Now you're only saying that because I'm the obvious favourite, "Kevin" was taken, get over it, it's no good letting it get you down, surely the couselling and electric shock therapy goes at least some way to rectify the situation?.

What you on about! They were expecting a girl! They only decided on Kev in the last minute, as they passed Kevin's Hair Parlor on the way to the Registrar!

Bless you Eeyore, of course it hasn't worked lately, you haven't done your sums,
more Kevins = less Foxy ladies

May I suggest being named after a Donkey may not attract the right kind of women as we kev's do, perhaps Samson or Hercules would be more apt and on par with the "K" name.

as for Sharon & Tracy types, Kevins are not "common" they are "POPULAR".

Any other Kevins please feel free to chastise Eeyore for his misconceptions.

They are not worthy, only saints qualify, as sticky says we are too modest, we like to change history from behind the scenes, you must have heard the popular saying ;
"Behind every great man there's a Kevin".

I rest my case.

Come on ladies please don't feel overawed, don't let the obvious predudice, jealousy and hostility towards us put you off from posting.

Of course the reason they are behind the great men is because that is where the menial jobs are permormed by those of no great intellect

or possibly they lack the confidence, erudition, or good looks to step into the spot light themselves

No point in adding to this thread when it is clear that we are clearly superior and I wouldn't wish to belittle the non Kevs out there

There are more obvious reasons for the donkey like name - some of my physical attributes are very similar in size for instance - as this is a family forum I shall leave the rest to your imagination.
