There might be a team called Pompey who lost twice and are now bottom of the prem ah well at least we've got man utd and chelsea out of the way for the mo'. An away win at everton this weekend is on the cards

More bad news i hear Elmander & Taylor are out injured for some time, at least it's only West Brom at the weekend

To make a change from talking about the Premier 'who's got all the cash" League I thought I'd mention my team who drew 1-1 with another former League team Torquay last night (I believe it was on Sultana Sports or whatever it is )

That make 2 wins followed by 4 draws so far this season so a decent start

Well coming from the south west i like to keep an eye on all the local teams & sadly Torquay haven't started very well.
Like you say there's no money in the lower divisions & for someone like Torquay not only do they not have much money but good players don't want to go that far down to play

Tell me about lower league teams having no money..

But there are teams worse off than York and Torquay, like Rotherham, Bournemouth, Luton etc who are stuggling to come out of administration

and then you get Man Utd, the Mickey Mousers, Chelski etc raking money in and instead of investing in English players they go out and buy foreign imports taking more money away from the lower clubs

Just arrived back from Deepdale. 2 - 1 to the mighty North End. Should should have been a lot more though. Mellor had two 1 on 1's with the keeper and missed them both. But all is well and good, the three points in the bag, now for a cool beer!!!
