Gilbert White: Nature Man - BBC4

Hi all,

This programme looks like it's going to be good (BBC4, Wed 28th June, 9 p.m.) Michael Wood will be exploring the life and writing of Gilbert White, author of 'The Natural History of Selbourne' and father of the ecology movement. Gilbert White's biographer, Richard Mabey (one of my top favourite nature writers) will be travelling with Michael Wood in White's footsteps - with input from fans such as David Attenborough along the way...
