This is amazing... using various weights and bits of timber this guy demonstrates simple means of raising stones of several tons. I wonder just how close to the mark he is?

It's amazing how they built the pyramids, great wall of china etc in those days without a JCB. The "experts" still don't know for certain how they raised the pyramid stones.

jaki The J-Walk Blog: Moving Big Rocks | Top stuff, this guy could well be on to something! Wonder how the top stone was then raised? I do believe the Stones were shipped across from Newport near the Preseli's to Ilfracombe in Celtic long boats, so much admired by Caesar?!?
