| | | pop up hides I just met a guy who makes these, and he has kindly donated a couple to my employers.
They look like excellent bits of kit for twitchers, photographers, etc (I'm going to make off with one of ours for an extended test soon so I will let you know what happens.)
in the meantime if you want more info check out the following links www.popoutside.com. and http://www.theparkstrust.com/parks%2...e.asp?ID=34783

Now if someone invented a trolley to help carry all the gear
I.e.
Camera
Assorted lenses
Scope
Camera for scope
Bins
Bird books
Flower book
Fungi book
And so on
Flask of coffee and cheese rolls
Did I mention the partridge in the tree.

Here is a link to one that would only cost £39 and is also a pop up. http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/products...y=1%2D2+person
The one to look at is the Gelert Quick Pitch tent.
I used to take my pop up fishing bivvy with me until it was stolen. It was great to carry around with me and gave me great flexibility on where I went.

Mind you I used to go out with a girl from coventry and the evening ambience was most conivial - what with the huge fight in the night club (empires I think), glasses sailing through the air, and outside charming gentlemen vomiting in the gutters, throwing bricks at each other, and whacking taxi's with scaffolding poles.
I havent felt that safe and welcome since yemen in 1995
And yes I know its not all like that, she was from allesly and that was quite nice really

Don't worry, I'm a Brummie really, having lived there for 58 years. I haven't lived in Coventry that long (18 months) and it still isn't one of my favourite places to live.
Any way, what was this thread all about. Oh yes, pop up hides. I think we have hijacked the thread long enough now don't you think. |

I have used bright red, yellow, blue cars as hides and it hasn't bothered birds so I doubt if a brightly coloured tent will. Mind you they don't look a bright colour anyway.
Then again if you were to wear brightly coloured clothes that might make a difference.
