| | | Re: Wildwood centre in kent Went a few years back after quite a wet spring and it was very muddy. From what I can remember most of the animals were behind chainlink fencing so that could be a problem I suppose. The rat enclosure was good but I suppose you could photograph those anywhere. This snake pit, the Beaver pond, the Badger set and the Wild Boar pens were also quite accessible.
Thanks for reminding me about this place I can feel another trip there, coming on. |

| | | Re: Wildwood centre in kent Thanks for the link ww, it looks pretty good (but i assume no one would have a website which made them look poor). Mesh isnt a problem as you can focus through it, but the safety fence in front may make it difficult to get the front element close enough to the wire (this is where a sigmonster would come in handy).
I'll report back once I've been

| | | Re: Wildwood centre in kent I was at Wildwood two years ago and the people were very friendly. There were lots of opportunities for photography even though some animals were behind fences but most were in enclosures eg Fox and arctic Fox but still easy to photograph. There was also a nice enclosure with various frogs. Not sure, however, what they are. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your visit. |

| | | Re: Wildwood centre in kent I've been several times and got some good shots. Roe deer can be good but depends where they happen to be in their enclosure. Also got good shots of Water Voles on one visit but did not spot any when I returned. Hope you get lucky!
