I am a Capricorn...............but I don't believe in astrology. I have the same views as NickCantle, I need scientific evidence to persuade me.
Everything to do with astrology is written so ambiguously that it can be adapted to apply to anybody. I think people want to believe it so much they only notice the parts relevant to themselves and ignore the stuff that doesn't fit. |

Yes I do think horoscopes are a bit of fun tho poss there are 'indications' of a general sort as to what might be afoot astrologically speaking, but I think it may be quite difficult to be precise - or maybe not if armed with very precise birth details and a knowledge of how to interpret .............
I have no difficulty at all in thinking that the planets have a part to play in ruling matter - the moon and tides - so why not planets and people - its all matter and we are all 'electrical' beings while alive..... so I have no probs with thiinking that folks fall into generalised patterns - patterns are everywhere - so why not birth signs. Think about this - if we were all absolutely unique to the point that no-one was similar at all - then would anyone in the universe get on together at all - or would we all be warring savages unable to agree with anyone. Our similarities (how you identify with someone who thinks like you or holds the same viewpoint) is surely what allows us to rub along together............ perhaps our birth signs facilitate this?

Yes I understand what you mean in your previous post PMG, but I think there are only so many personality traits that humans can have without there being some similarities or common ground.
It is possible that there are some similarities between people born at certain times of the year. I think it may be more likely to be a result of differences in exposure to light, temperature or possibly seasonal foods rather than star signs though. Some of these ideas have been investigated but as far as I know there is no significant evidence to back it up. |

Home made runes sounds good and yes they are very succinct Though ii've never had much luck with the runes, I know quite a few people who love them. My wonderful cards seem to have gone pear shaped on me for the first time ever
yes that's one way of describing me !!! - 5 planets in pisces is rather a lot At moment a terrified emotional pisces due start of new life next week

One for Dutchess perhaps??? I mentioned earlier that i had my first wrong reading from a pack that has never let me down. Well decided to ask the same question and though the past and present cards were different, the end result one was exactly the same. I had asked exactly the same very simple question. Yet I know this is wrong - it is a result that can't happen. Any ideas why??? and yes the cards were very well shuffled...the last card sort of leapt out at me and the first two made perfect sense. There is no miss reading these cards - and the last one was blunt; no room for reading the wrong thing into it - lol (wish there was!).
