Just bought a videocamera (don't ask) put the just charged battery in
and a heron flew up from the pond into the weeping birch, fastest learning curve ever  got the smug look and full crop as it launched itself into the air and away.
Missed the Jackdaws ambling around the lawn, turning over pieces of bark with their feet to peer underneath beady eyed with beak ready to snap up anything worthwhile
