Well done jeff .. I dont come on as often as i would like at the moment due to work commitments.. But I always go to see if there are any Kingfisher updates before I read any other Threads.. Please keep them comming.. and i agree you could make an amazing book

WOW - what can I say? I'm overwhelmed by the scale and generosity of all your kind remarks  . Thank you - they are all very much appreciated
I'm one of those guys who knows a little about only a few things and a lot about even fewer (mainly birds) and I joined WAB after stumbling across the site whilst searching for some help in confirming the identity of a Grass Snake in our garden.
That was nearly two years ago and since then my knowledge of the wider natural world (and photography) has increased enormously due almost entirely to this site and the very knowledgeable WAB membership. Many people have helped me along the way - far too many to name individually, but including many of the WAB stalwarts who've posted on this thread (you know who you are ) - I'm indebted to you all and joining WAB has certainly added a new dimension to the pleasure I gain from nature.
As for the Kingfisher Diary, thanks again for all your support and encouragement - it's been a real pleasure sharing my experiences with you all and being able to put something back into this wonderful site.
