Ever the adventurous explorer I live less than 2 miles from where I was born in Reading  I do hope to escape somewhere a bit more rural sometime tho.

I was born in the maternity ward of our local cottage hospital, and this house is the farthest I have lived from it - 9 miles!
My son was born at the same hospital 35 years later!
My hubby was born about 12 miles away - so you can see we are a very adventurous family! |

Born 63 years ago in Weston-super-Mare. Adopted at 6 weeks and ended up in Birmingham where for 58 years I moved around quite a bit before moving to Leamington Spa in 2003 then to Coventry, where I am now, in 2005.
Ideally I would like to end up in Norfolk but I will have to start doing the lottery (and win it) to be in with a chance of that move.

Born in Gwelo, Southern Rhodesia (now Gweru, Zimbabwe); both parents were Londoners, and like my father I served as an officer in the Royal Air Force so have no real roots to speak of. Moved to the beautiful county of Hampshire eight years ago but still have itchy feet and a yen to 'retire' to rural west country or Scotland, with an escape to sunnier climes if winter is too miserable.

Sadly had to move to Leicester aged 7 due to my Dad's job...I missed the coast terribly, and moved to Swansea to do my degree when I was 18. I've stayed in Wales ever since, and have been here 14 years now, and love it
