I was born in Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire, raised on Pork Pie & Stilton Cheese.
I haved lived in this area all my life, its not that bad really.
Having said that I would give some serious thought to moving to Norfolk once I have retired from the force in 20 years time, suppose I have time to save up!!

I was born in Stourbridge some near 41 years ago  and still live in Stourbridge.
Whilst I live in a tiny council house, my garden backs on to open farmland and I watch the seasons change by the fields. I love it! |

Lincolnshire born and bred. Was born in a small village in Lincolnshire on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Lived very briefly in the town of Brigg Lincolnshire when I first married many moons ago but soon moved back to the village where I live to this day, and to be honest would not want to be anywhere else.

Like Cherrybee I was born in my gran's front room - only this one was in Wideopen in Northumberland. Moved away from Northumberland when I went to university and now live in Hertfordshire, having sampled Durham, Sheffield and Woking on the way. Don't know that I'd particularly recommend Hertfordshire (though, with apologies to anyone who loves the place, it's a geat deal better than Woking), but it seems to be home now. |

Born in St Marys Manchester 55 years ago which makes me Mancunian through and through Family lived in Bury at the time; then school years in Darwen; three years in 'exile' at Lytham St Annes, before settling into 3 different houses in Leigh over the last 36 (gosh that long!) years.......... and I'm going to get buried here cos I've bought a plot ........... but it won't matter where my body is - cos my spirit will have left - to wander endlessly between the Lakes and the Cairngorms

Lived in Borough of Lewisham, London my whole life - not very adventurous, I know - but I do dream of escaping to Romney Marsh, or thereabouts, one day.

Was born in Isleworth but being an army brat was dragged up all round the world! Then seemed to keep moving - Hampshire, Netherlands, Germany, London, Luton (  ) and then finally Staffordshire for the last 20 years,m where will stay unless that elusive lottery win happens! | | | |
