| | | art piece Birmingham help... Hi guys
When I was in Birmingham the other week I took pics of various attractions, abstracts etc. I want to use one to print etc, however, I don't know what it's called. Basically it's the big round blue globe the other side of the paradise forum, it has the country reflected in silver. If necessary I can post a pic. Help
bouncy tigger I'm counting on you here, no pressure !!

| | | Re: art piece Birmingham help... the area outside the ICC is called Centenary Square, but I can't quite think what it is you're describing. Was this a permanent building or some sort of temporary exhibition piece? I haven't been past there for a while and they often have temporary things there e.g. the huge wheel that was there for a while (the Brummie version of the London Eye ).

Matt | It was basically a very large globe on a long pole, so quite high, made from blue tin or metal, some world countries were displayed on there as a globe, but these were in silver. Therefore you could see the world behind you reflected in the nations on the globe. I'll try a search using centenary sq, thanx for that
