| | | Re: Mothering Sunday Well, I sent dearest 'Nick's Mum' a card, and her present will be lots of hugs, love and kisses when I get home on the 14th March I'm practically alone in the flat this weekend- There's 2/7 on our floor, 3/7 on the middle floor and 2/6 on the top They've all gone home to see their Mothers. Lovely thought indeed and if it was possible, I'd have been there in a flash, but my Mother appreciates that it takes so much effort and finance to get home for a weekend, so she'd rather me stay here. Of course I'll phone her and tell her I love her much much much

| | | Re: Mothering Sunday Thanks Jez - and a happy Mother's Day to all other mums out there!
Weather's not too bad here this morning so going out to play with my new lens for an hour or so.
As it's Mother's Day, mum (me) gets the privilege of driving there, and then I get the added bonus of cooking dinner too !
Have a good day all - whatever you are doing!

Me too Aestarte, my mother is no longer around either and like you i'm thinking of her. She loved wildflowers, painting and dancing - so not quite sure what i'll be doing today in her memory

| | | Re: Mothering Sunday I've had a lovely day with my two children - my son made me pancakes for breakfast (about all he can make ) and my daughter gave me a cute little teddy and then helped me out in the garden by dead heading in our tidy up before spring
My mum sent me a text to say she was out with my dad, hunting for plant galls in Leicestershire! I think he took her out for lunch as part of the deal. |
