Good answer Paul to get the best out of it you do need to stop it down a bit but a good all rounder lens

Re: What is a bigma?

The "little Bigma" is the baby brother of this one 170mm - 500mm, this is my principal zoom cost me £439 - as has been discussed on other threads this isnt quite as sharp arround the edges as the bigma, but I'm happy with it

If you win the lottery you can also get a sigmonster 300mm to 800mm, but this weighs an absolute ton and costs about £3k

Re: What is a bigma?

Another vote for the Bigma. All my recent shots on here are taken with it. A good all round lens if slightly on the heavy side.
Roger.

Another Bigma User. Still not getting the best out of it yet, but that's down to me not the lens.
