Ranking system

I understand that the ranks are based on your number of posts, but could someone tell me which ammount ammount to what rank ? ( I notice I just became a wild member on passing 100)

Re: Ranking system

We'll soon find out at the rate Graham/glsammy is going. 3200+ in seven months. Think we all ought to be laying bets on the date that he will reach his 5000.

I'm still a lowly Active member, I don't understand how you get your posts up so high so quick - Where do you post?

As has been said, comments on images, images uploaded, forum posts all count. As a moderator and gallery editor I try and comment on as many images as I can..plus reply to all the comments made on mine.. I spend a lot of time on WAB so I'm bound to have a high post count.

Photographs also count as posts so you could type a six page guide to wildlife and get 1 post or a roll of film and get 36 posts!TIC

Well I have a long way to go. This is number 3. I have some nice photos though so that should boost my score.

Re: Ranking system

These rankings are cool but i wont try to attain them too quick as from another forum i have been in (it was an aviation one) i got told off by a moderator for posting too much! I politely gave him a PM saying sorry for that

Remember its the quality of the post that earns you respect not the quantity

Re: Ranking system

Your right there flying Fox, but we're a more relaxed laid back bunch here, provided the posts aren't obviously just to increase your count, feel free to post as much as you like..I'll tell you off when you post more than me.

Re: Ranking system

Thanks glsammy, i think it will take me a long long time to reach the number of posts you have hehe

Its a really nice forum here and is a lovelly part where i can talk about other things instead of aviation all the time as many people at www.flightlevel350.com dont know what a planetarium is and i guess thats because they are 100% aviation enthusiasts when iam more of a variety enthusiast
