you dont have to watch but the link will take you to youtube where you can voice your objection. this is disgusting, i dont know what ahppens at the end i couldnt watch it all. how youtube have allowed this to be posted i am amazed its not hit the news! anyone want to contact jon humphries radio 4 or eddie mair. |

Seen the police have been looking for a guy in a car who filmed himself doing 120mph and posted it on utube that made national news. What we have here is so so much worse surely the police can do something about it !!!  |

Well I've watched it and its abhorrent and also an illegal act ........... where can I complain to about the content of You Tube?

do you have to be a member to put your bit in,i dont really want to join utube,i did watch the film and the Badger did live but bleeding, i dont recon it would have got over it somehow,poor thing,someone said put him in a cage with his dog thats too good for the sicko,dangle him over a river full of hungry crocks,or paranahs so he suffers like that poor Badger did,the wicked b.......... |

YouTube is a mixed blessing. It's nice for people to put their video clips up if they are legal but it has also become a sink site for sick people....this is disgusting and I hope the user will be traced and prosecuted. |

Things like this happen alot. You get the local chavs training dogs to fight now and then, in a bowls cllub about two hundred yards from my house they had dogs fighting there so we called the police on 3 occations to stop it. A cat was filmed being thrown out a window as well, one of the boys who did its friends spoke out to them that it was wrong afterwards and got a beating, even if people do think its cruel they would be to scared to report it. Being an animal lover isnt really a good thing in some peoples books and is seen as weakness then older and more streetwise kids will give you some abuse.

Think about what you are all saying. When you fight fire with fire, you just get a bigger fire. Like you said, no-one in their right mind could do such a thing to any living thing. Well, that's what you're all saying you want to happen. Simply throw them in a jail cell for a few years, that should put them straight. But we'd be walking in their shoes if we put them through torture!
Please don't be angry at me, I'm just making a point!

Please don't be angry at me, I'm just making a point! | I admire your principles Bethany - I think you're a very secure and steady person - but - I am now 55 years old and have had various brushes and involvements with things like this thro my job and sometimes just because I badgerwatch and visit so many setts and I can assure you prison is no use whatsoever! And I don't actually think its much use for most crime - it isn't a big enough deterrent - I wish it was - but it isn't. People who commit Badger baiting/dog fighting/cock fighting/hare coursing etc are like people who abuse children - they won't be cured of it as a lot of them think there is nothing wrong with it - animals fight - they will tell you its natural......
There is a big difference between torturing an animal for pleasure, sport or money and a human being hurting another human being in order to let them feel that pain (and fear of death) inflicted deliberately is cruel and morally wrong in human behaviour. I think this is what the other members are trying to say.
