Re: Chinese New Year

I was born in the Year of the Rat!
So I should be:...
Rats are intelligent, hardworking and ambitious, but they don't plan well for their futures. They get on best with dragons or monkeys, but don't like horses. Their element is water, and their lucky numbers are one and six.
Bethany

Re: Chinese New Year

I don't believe in this sort of thing of course but does this really sound like me?

"Faithful, honest and ready to serve others. Believe in truth and justice and loyal to friends. Always willing to listen to people’s problems and is able to gain the respect of others. Will share their thoughts but do not easily forgive those who cross them. Trustworthy. Tend to worry too much."

No meals but on Saturday going into the city the 'bus was held up waiting for two dragons and some very energetic lions to cross the road!

Re: Chinese New Year

I was born in 1948 which, I think, makes me a rat. If I find a prize from Ernie on the mat tomorrow morning I might start to believe in this sort of thing. My neighbour is of Chinese extraction but was born in Bodmin, Cornwall - I think I can smell pasties cooking!
