| | | Davinci Code Have you seen the new ad for the DAVINCI CODE?
"No matter what you have heard, go see the DaVinci Code"
What, like its rubbish?
Like rather than being some high brow, thought provoking, psycho thriller its more like an Indiana Jones movie.
No matter what you have heard go see the DaVinci Code. If its anything like the book it'll be good up to the point at which they leave the vault, then it goes right downhill. |

| | | Re: Davinci Code I disagree. I liked the book up until they left the vault then there is a catalogue of errors. Bought Digital Fortress but have never opened it as was so disappointed that I had wasted 2 days on DVC. Gutted |

| | | Re: Davinci Code Just finished the book and the ending, well, what an anti climax - the revelation was handled better in Kevin Smith's film, Dogma (and the catholic church didn't like that either - I want a Buddy Christ!) |

| | | Re: Davinci Code I fail to see what all the fuss is with the churches. Its a novel at the end of the day which you can choose whether or not to read. Why are the churches into censorship? I would have thought anything that highlighted religion in times when it is losing it popularity, good or bad, must be a positive thing |

Waterstones are selling a spoof called the asti spumante code which a freind bought me and is imo a lot better than the original.

| | | Re: Davinci Code Is it really poor? The book was disappointing. It was one of the first novels I read, concentrating on factual books and biogs previously, so I thought it was just me being ultra critical but I have read far better since. |
