Now I'm going to dance my way up the stairs to bed (minus custard filled waders - hmm which actually sounds like a kind of biscuit - good grief - can this thread possibly be more surreal..........)
and go to bed because I've been a good girl this weeknd and have been studying at a wildflower course all weekend (pics to follow tomorrow) and I am now exhausted (pubs near field centres - fantastic idea!!!).
Please god don't let custard filled, fishy, waders or swirly, smokey, amber-coloured faces and hands follow me into my dreams.....
clogs and trainers more than welcome.... |

Yippee. I like that, its like Christmas. I am easy to please, I just buy myself a present. Now tomorrow if I have a bad day at work at least I will be happy to get home and if they are not here tomorrow I just get more excited Wednesday, which is a long day, so it will be a pleasant surprise |

Amazon is very good for a bit of a cheer up - not so good for the wallet......
I have 'the interactive flora of the british Isles' dvd rom coming to me too (though not from amazon) and I'm excited about that too because maybe just maybe I might get better at plants!!!
Swear shoes are tooooooo heavy to post they'd need like a team of oxon or something |

If you only buy one thing this year, take my lead. They are absolutely fantastic. The comfort is something else, they weigh nothing, they let your feet breathe, they have little bobbles on the instep that massage your foot. Honestly they are absolutely fantastic. I am chuffed to bits and will order more colours tonight. You know very rarely you get something and am tempted to get more just incase they stop ever making them, well I am gonna order another few colours tonight. |

Off the subject of feet....we could all get you up to the commander position tonight if you talk to us all enough. What do you think everyone? ww |

Good for you Boddie. I do like a guy with good footwear, its one of the first things I notice. Im not impressed if a man doesn't have good shoes. Im not sure if its just me, or if its a general woman thing |

| | | Re: Clogs Its a general woman thing I reckon, from the comments I get anyway. My mum says I've always had a thing for shoes but not only shoes. I do like my clothes, and luxury items. I only have myself to buy things for so I end up treating myself all the time. I am like a little kid in a sweetie shop. And mostly I am happy all the time |

| | | Re: Clogs I must admit iv always been a follower of fashion as my dad used to be in the fashion business. It was great when I was a kid as we used to go to fashion shows in Europe a lot. Its funny coz when you see me at uni I always have a cool outfit on and give some thought into what im going to wear on that particular day, make sure my hair and make-up is looking sleek. When im at work on the farm however its a totally different story..I turn into this agricultural Worzel Gummidge lass, with bits of straw in my hair, baler-twine hanging out of me pocket and sheep poo on my boots. haaha its just one extreme to the other with me |

I used to do this too very much so. but then last year I met a lovely lovely man with the nastiest stripey slip on things you've ever seen in your life and my ex always had cool shoes but turned out to be a total 'very nasty person' so now I don't judge a man by his shoes (which is silly really anyway)
but a man who is at ease with his style is always a lovely thing. |

| | | Re: Clogs You are correct of course. My favourite is a young lady dressed in a dress and boots. Like hobnail boots. Not pretty, girly boots. Any girl that can carry this look off is for me. I recently saw a woman, on some cliffs, with a beautiful white dress and Timberlands. She looked number one. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
