Well she seemed to be having a great day when I ran into her behind the shingle at Salthouse

She was behind an obscenely large lens taking snaps of snow and Lapland buntings in a howling gale, fortunealtely from behind us (and sadly rather poor light). Lots of very confiding turnstones too, and, two very bossy and disruptive black-headed's which caused me to think of the catapults and air-rifles of my youth - tut tut !!

Her mEn ( ) kept saying it was her day and she could do whatever she liked - bit risky I thought ..................

Oh my! Thank you everyone - all those messages has brought a tear to my eye - you are lovely folks

We got back from Norfolk at 10pm - left Cley at 4pm - after a fantastic surprise three day break provided by the better half: the weather remained kind and the buntings were flighty - actually I will start a little thread later and tell the tale - but for now must get ready for work

But thank you again for all those birthday wishes - its like getting loads of cards isn't it
