I do admire people who can make clothes but can one really make trousers, especially jeans? | Yes Paul they can! My mum made all my clothes until I was well into teenage stage - which included 'hipster' jeans and my auntie on my dad's side could tailor make trousers, jackets and shirts for her husband, my dad's brother - and she did it without a pattern most times She was frighteningly clever at it

Also have a broader taste and like some classical, and other types of music but rock is always tops.

As for Music I am not into music very much but like a wide variety. I am one of those that if i hear a song i like I dont care who is singing or playing it.My favourite band though is REM. i was lucky enough to go and see them 2 years ago in London. they were brilliant.
My Partner is in one of britains top skinhead bands and plays abroad a lot. He was in a Punk band in the 1970's. So we listen to a lot of wierd stuff a lot of the time. Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Killing Joke, Killing Joke, Cock Sparrer,Alice cooper, marilym manson.. the list goes on

| | | Re: Non wildlife interests? Music is my main interest, after all this. I've been an guitar player since 1968, and spent 26 years (4 of them as a professional), slogging around the UK gig circuit before calling it a day nine years ago. I've been through around twenty guitars during all that, and at my peak owned 12, but now it's down to just 8, which includes two Les Paul Standards, and an ES335TDC.
Heavily influenced by The Blues and Cream (as are several others here).

Glad someone else likes looking at rivers from bridges. Even if there aren't any voles, I'll happily hang around a bridge for hours. |
