Boxer Naseem Hamed has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for causing a car crash that left one man seriously injured. As well as totalling his car he decided to flee the scene hoping the authorities would not know who was driving. A £300,000 sports Merc with the number plate NAZ 1 was never going to take too much detective work.
As I saw him arrive at court this morning I could not help thinking to myself what a great boxer he was and an inspiration to so many. It also answered a question thousands of football fans chant every week...
