Your'e not alone Pauline, I'm out at 6am on Fri 28th to work and again I start on Jan 2nd , but the good side of it is I am semi retired and only do 2 or 3 days a week till next October then I will be officialy retired. (I think )
but then, again who knows.

Hi Guys n Gals

Twasn't bad - annoyingly it was a lovely afternoon for a spell at least, the sun was warm which made the flash very busy - car park once again nearly full! Not that I saw any of it 'buried' behind the counter in the golf shop all day!

Even more annoying is that today and tomorrow are my weekly leave days and the weather for the third week on the trot - is rubbish (and that's not what I said earlier when I looked out of the bathroom window!)

I've been temporarily part time (half of every day) for almost six months Duncan and due to the impending restructure (which has been towering over us for three years now...........) 2008 looks like the year it will finally be implemented and that might result in me retiring............. we shall see

But for now we are off out locally despite the weather - it won't stop us birding if nothing else

Would that be cos you haven't yet been to bed or are you an early riser? I assumed the visitors may have been from t'other side of the globe?

Roll on new years day and getting out and about - if the weather will belt up with all this dull and rain - our last three lots of weekly leave have been two days of dull nasty rubbish - the days either side at work have been blue and even warmish on a couple of afternoons...........
