What did you all get for christmas?
I'm well happy, got a Opticron IS70 Scope and a HDF eyepiece from my folks which is spot on and off my brother I got a Slix Tripod with a Manfrotto head  just need some sun to get out and use it |

I got a guitar case and my guitar taken off and restrung; arctic butterfly to clean 400d sensor with; 2 beatles cds;bob dylan autobiography; perfume;A3 matte paper; a left handed corkscrew and a l handed pen and other bits and bobs.
More than anything, have good health, some sunshine, copious amounts of alcohol and birds feeding frantically in the garden. Yayy

i got a dvd of all scottish mountains from ben nevis to ben lomond to skye and many more places, filmed from a helicopter in really beautiful weather . i also got a book ,Walking With Murder, by ian nimmo .where he traces the walk that david balfour and allen breac' stewart took after they were shipwrecked in the robert louis stevenson's book "kidnapped". best by far though is a tour and lunch at celtic park home to my beloved Glasgow Celtic FC !! .merry xmas all!!!!!

1 mini easel with accessory box.
acrylic paints
1 art set in a wooden case (includes pastels, charcoals etc).
1 bag of mini chupper lollipops
1 Jelly Belly Bean selection box
A pair of pyjamas
a pair of brown trousers
'The Hogfather' on DVD.
I also bought myself a 'Slipknot' hoodie, which my parents were going to give me the money for, but when it came it was slightly damaged so I had to send it back  . Never mind I'll find another one at some point

I got Ray Mears-Wild Food book (I'm off in a bit to eat a Forest or two) I know you won't like me for it but it is Christmas after all & I got this Beautiful Ring from someone special to me also a new Chair (with rocking action) and a soft cushion from my mom just for WAB! Well...
I got a contribution for a nestbox (with camera inside) from my "other family", which has been set up, and has blue tits investigating it already (for roosting purposes).
But today, I opened a GREAT book - "How to be Wild" by Simon Barnes, and also a CATERING size jar of Hellmans Mayonnaise. (My fave).

A shared present for myself and hubbyfrom our daughters which was a new TV ours had had its day.If they watched football the pitch was purple I had a new flat screen monitor for my computer from hubby.Finally got some room on the computer desk the old monitor took up so much space

I got a lovely new set of golf clubs and a brand new fly fishing rod Santa was great this year! My Mum and Dad even put a robin mix of seeds etc in my stocking

We're having our main Christmas tomorrow when the children return, but today I was given a wonderful new laptop Can't believe how much clearer and more vibrant my pics look when viewed on it. And the speed it runs at... awesome! |

I had my up and coming driving theory test + practical test paid for and a few dvd's, clothing, smelly stuff and some other bits and pieces.
Also the most sobar Christmas ever which i'm actually glad of after last year!
Santa also brought me a gold crest to the garden this morning

PS. I was also given Michael Chinery's new macro photography book called 'Insects'.
The pictures just about blow everything I've ever seen before out of the water. They really are astounding and lead to another dimension in macro photography.
Goodness only knows what equipment was used-but I really think the work in his book is a totally different league. Get it if you love insects.

My presents included:
A large head ache, too many bottles of brandy, far too many chocolate gingers, No Socks! but best of all, 3 DVD's of the two Ronnies Apparently I've been going on too long about The Four Candles sketch ... even more so than Clumber fungi 
I still can't get over the fact I received no socks though |

I gave us each a gorgeous Dunoon mug with Badgers on and aside from eats and boxes of chocs thats it! We don't really do xmas pressies - its too long from one year to the next - we sort of have things as we're going along - or when really needed
