Sentiments echoed here from TBR. 
As I think I've said before (once or twice  ) I'm working over christmas - 14 hours on christmas day. 
My better half will be with her family over the holiday, so I'm stuck down south, and in the office all alone. Surrounded by mince pies I expect.
I guess I'll be the only one on WAB on the big day too! 
Can you hear those violins?! 
Anyway - here's to a very merry christmas to all at WAB!
ROLL ON HOGMANAY - thats my holiday, and will raise a glass (or four thousand) to you all!

Back in October, when the first Seasons Greeting thread was started, in my usual "bah humbug!" mode, I said Christmas Eve was just about the right time to send out Seasonal Wishes.
Seeing as it's now Christmas Eve, I'm keeping to my word.

My festive drink will be delayed somewhat. We were going to Meadowhall, Sheffield to pick-up No1 Daughter, who's coming up from London. Meadowhall is about an hours drive from here and we were to pick her up at 20:30hrs. She rang not long ago; the bus as returned to Victoria, with an electrical fault. We're now waiting for a new ETA at Sheffield.
Me thinks Santa will be abed well before I, this year.
