Put your Christmas cards and stamps to good use!

As the first Christmas cards drop through the letter box, I thought I
would remind you of some good causes which will appriciate your help
after Christmas.
You can help the Albatros by saving the postage stamps by sending them
to the RSPB.

The RSPB: Save the albatross: What you can do

Your Christmas cards can also go to the Woodland Trust and help with a
tree planting scheme.

Don't forget will you - They are good causes

A good idea, Goosey. I already save used postage stamps and when I have filled a large jiffy bag I give them to a good cause, like Guide Dogs for the Blind, etc. But next time I will give them to the Save the Albatross, campaign.

Some great ideas here. I will be sending my cards and stamps off. I think the RSPB also collect used ink cartridges.

I think there will be enough stamps used this month alone to be able to help all these causes .

Thanks - I didn't know about the stamps even though I'm a member of the RSPB.

Just shows how you don't get time to read all the magazine they send.

Re: Put your Christmas cards and stamps to good use!

All good stuff.
I'm interested to know what the charities so with all these greetings cards? We don't pass ours on because we chop up the previous years cards to make gift tags (and compost the rest).

We do give our stamps to charity but we sneak out the best ones - partly for the lads' stamp collections (a minor consideration now) but also because valuable ones can get better prices which are overlooked by some charities ......
