| | | human flu in glamorgan After battling with a very heavy cold in work all week, yesterday I finally succumbed to flu <--- da da daaa !! Unable to get up for most of yesterday evening, I wasn't looking forward to being bedded down again today, however, surprise I had a relatively lovely time.
My partner ensured bird feeders were all full and left me tucked up in bed with my photomag and a coffee. I can see all the feeders at a stretch while in bed so I opened the french windows wide, snuggled under duvet and spent the morning bed-bird watching. I saw my usual customers plus a gorgeous flock of long-tailed tits on the feeders and several blackbirds on the pyrocantha. The trees on the mountain are flecked with gold and orange now and I dozed off listening to the sounds of bird song and my pond waterfall. I almost forgot my germs I now have a whole new attitude to being ill and love our new bedroom
