| | | Re: Work Stresses Before retiring I was active in my union and benefits were available from day one. Stress is covered by health and safety regulations and advice will be available from non-union sources.
Not only would I urge union membership but active involvement - helping others can be therapeutic (is that spelt right?) |

And I shall keep my fingers crossed that you get that window seat. I have pigeons, magpies, blue, great and long-tailed tits and grey squirrels outside mine.

| | | Re: Work Stresses I've just got back from a job interview (yes it was a late one!) it's the first interview I've been to for over 5 years and I'm now kicking myself for being so nervous, I sat there like a big shaking eejit!
I'm mad with myself because I really want the job but only time will tell, I suppose
Well done Lincs on your new job!

In my experience if your unhappy in a job as you have been you HAVE to get out. Stress can be a killer and you would never have been happy waiting and hoping that things would change. You have done the right thing beleive me. After all, what have you lost?
Everyone feels a little nervous with something new and I'm sure you'll soon settle in. After all, look what you've gained! An increase in pay for new lenses |
