As this is such a busy time for birds what with all that nest building going on, we thought we could help the birds out with some recycled horse hair for there nests as you can see it’s a GREAT (sorry) hit. |

Anyone know if human hair is a suitable substitute ???
The clippers are coming out tonight so might as well put it to some use

I brush our Rabbits once a week and put the hair in the hedges and bushes around the garden for the birds to take. Seen several species flying off with a beakful. ww |

I have a Standard Poodle and an Airedale Terrier that are both regularly clipped. We always put some of their hair out for the birds at this time of year. The Blue Tits in particular seem to love it

I leave the hair after brushing the dogs. in the hedges around our garden. to assist the birds with their nest building. It is then interesting to watch the birds collect it. | | |
