But what are your views, what was the best World Cup, the best match, the best goal .... I'd go for 1970 and Brazil as the best team but the Italy v Germany as the best match ....

It has to be '66 and Martin Peters, even though I was very young I still remember the excitement and celebration especially as my dad is a big footy fan and of course Sir Alf Ramsey has connections with Ipswich Town and lived here

I hope my children get to witness England winning the world cup

For me, nothing beats the Brazil team in the 1970 World Cup, the skill level was unbelievable and the games were exciting, unlike most of them today.
