| | | Clocks Go Back an Hour Yer last year i forgot to set my clock back and spent an hour in the dark wondering why nobody had come to open up shop! It was a cold hour but the Robins song made up for it

When our son was 16,he had loads of jobs,he couldn't get a full time one,he had loads of bits and pieces everywhere. He had 3 Sunday paper rounds, and some evening cleaning. It turned out, that he was doing over 50 hours,as well as playing football, cricket and golf!He was well knacked, and when the clocks went back,we thought he would have a lay in!He put his alarm forward instead, and sat on the shop step, for an hour, before the papers arrived, poor old boy, bobbo |

| | | Re: Don't do like i did! I'll give good odds that I won't get a chance to lie in, this thick dog of mine can't grasp the idea of clocks being changed, he'll be tugging the duvet at half past six in the morning and he's too big to ignore. Ha well, I just hope we have some fine mornings till he gets used to the idea.

| | | Re: Don't do like i did! I once put the clocks forward not realizing dad had done it already!! Fortunately he found me before I did them all, but we still had to stop some of the clocks for an hour! It was very confusing.
Oh well, at least I get an hour's lie in tomorrow!!

| | | Re: Don't do like i did! Can you be lazier than I am. I was fed up with all the clocks telling a different time. So as I needed new ones I replaced them with radio controlled and I never have to set a clock.. all done automatically.

'Don't do like i did!' - could relate to anything and isn't easy to remember so I changed it to 'Clocks go back an hour' |
