We Went Unspotted By The TA Cadets..

Found this little lot while out looking for fungi with my daughter..we were able to get quite close and take this shot without being spotted...

Yeah useless kids, let's knock them......Fancy wasting all that time learning life skills, learning how to work as a team, learning the need to rely on people and inturn to be relied upon, learning discipline, learning pride in yourself and others, e.t.c....They should be hanging about on street corners or isolated in their bedrooms living in cyber space.

I had some of the best times of my life in the Army Cadet Force and believe I have become a better person because of it.

Good for you ...It was nice to see them out ..My son has just started his A levels..wouldnt dream of leaving his computer for a day to be out in the unknown..with another two at uni ..When they were younger I would have loved them to join up to something similar..My brother was in the TA many yrs ago ..he also had such a great time in all weathers..the skills you learn you can take with you and hopefully use in a positive way throughout your life..

Good luck to them all...and by the way we did also spot a young lady with them ...You Go Girl..

Am not knocking them, just taking the mick. I know what its like as I spent 8 years in the forces myself. and your right you learn a lot of life skills.
