At the weekend I bought some tablet for my forthcoming camping trips. I intend to camp with ration style provisions and heat up food with home made fires etc wherever I can. Once up in the mountains it is my intention to live of the land, and from the tuck box I take with me, and hopefully not go down to the shops for days on end, keeping well and truly off the beaten track.
Will take me back to my days in the forces, except I won't have some 5 foot tall upity sergeant barking orders at me. |

Hi Boddie in the old days the water purifying tablets made the water taste foul,have you tried them? there is a tube you put water through that works quite quickly by osmosis or something.dont take water where there are sheep(liver fluke)
Do try the charcoal handwarmer to keep the camera kit condesation free.
