| | | fave illicit snacks As fave bloke is working tonight I am home alone. This instantly leads me to the freezer for my tea for my fave illicit snack; you know the type, the one you don't tell anyone you love at this age.
Mine is fishfinger sarnies with tomato ketchup, the catch being I have to de breadcrumb them so that the bread contains fish and ketchup only, then after I've eaten them, I eat the breadcrumb casings like crisps childish but fab.
I think we ought to try each others out as a taste challenge

| | | Re: fave illicit snacks Something Ive never admitted in public before but I like cuppa soups - chicken - or tomato and veg flavour - but...........I have to put sweeteners in them - preferably 2 - and then some salt!
I also quite happily eat a 10 pack of crisps in one sitting...........and you know those vaccuum packed beetroots - er, well i like them with salt and pepper - and avocado with mayonnaise.
And yes I do have a boyfriend and yes he knows (but not about the beetroot!!!)

| | | Re: fave illicit snacks Cheese and pickles - but with a twist.
I've just discovered that fantastic creation: white stilton and cranberries. Add a few other contrasting cheeses like strong cheddar and leerdammer (jarlsburg is good too) and add some home made fruitry chutneys, caramalised onion and pickled shallotts. just begging to be washed down with London Pride or Old speckled Hen.
Simply heaven.
