Hi Galanthus!
Got a couple of ideas for your 'boozy' starter and seeing as you like smoked salmon they may be fitting... how about...
1. Wine steamed mussels with a kick of chilli... or
2. Clams in sherry sauce

henrya | That is what makes most of the snacks mentioned so illicit.

Some very good ideas for scary snacks!!
My supper every night (unless I've had too much beer! ) is -
Extra thick sliced white (cotton wool!) bread toasted - then put in the freezer for 15mins, taken out and buttered very thickly and then put back in the freezer for a good half hour!! It has to be freezing cold before I'll eat it!
My boyfriend usually makes it for me and brings it up to me with a mug of milk and honey - Im tucked up in bed by this time in my XL stripey pj's with my cuddly toys (and yes - one is a spider!!)

henrya | Peanut butter on toast HAS to be on shop bought (Hovis) white sliced bread, as does a bacon sarnie. |

| | | Re: fave illicit snacks The best bread for bacon sarnies is that stuff with the invisible crust - mind you I only get it when its reduced - it costs a fortune! Its easier to cut your own crust off!
Its also nice for dippy egg!

a dinner of cheese and onion quiche, cauliflower cheese and special fried rice. Far too many carbs and shouldn't really work but it does and is a favourite of the old man and me!!!
