I used to love some weird things. Sugar on buttered bread, salad cream and fish finger sarnies and even dipping me Twixes in yogurts!!!

The one from childhood is bread and butter sprinkled liberally with vinegar, malt or raspberry.
I also love dark choc and port together and, if I feel like cooking, oriental noodles with crushed chilli and melted butter.
Pity I'm on a permanant diet - I'll have to try some of those ideas. Didn't even know lavender was edible |

I think that was supposed to be 'mussels' not 'muscles' ..... but, if you want really weird food why not go for Welshmen or Frenchwomen?

Mine used to be banana splits with peanut butter and homemade dark choc sauce.
Mmm, chip or crisp sarnies.
Fave snack is toast with humous and olives, sun dried tomatoes or jalapenos or lime pickle.

bananas on toast
banana fritters with golden syrup
baby leave spinach with feta cheese
clotted cream on scones or bread or just on a spoon
strong chedder with pickled onion
garlic and vinegar on steak and kidney pies (split open the pie and put in the vinegar and garlic)...think I'll have some now!
jalapenos peppers in white vinegar (stomach cant take that anymore lol) Used to buy my own peppers then stick em in white vinegar for a week then eat em yummy.
vanilla icecream with a dollop of peanut butter or maple syrup or both
Humus with crusty bread straight from the oven (used to shop with my daughter and we would buy the bread last so it was still hot and stuff our faces in the car). Yummy!
If I think of more I'll let you know. going for dinner now....
should be ten tonne instead of 8.5 stone lol |

I cant read anymore.. I have put on 3lbs just going through the unread posts.
Mind you, today I wore a pair of trousers that when I last tried them on had a 4inch deficit in the waistband!!!!! Cant be bad!!!

Does anyone else out there get a steak and kidney pie and chips, (usually when inebriated or very hungry after work), peel the top pastry off and eat it, then scoop the filling out with single chips and then oh the shame, put a layer of chips in the remaining base of pie and eat them like a sandwich.
