Almostnormal on BBC1?

Did I just see our very own Almostnormal (aka Sarah) on Nature of Britain talking about birds on a farm stewardship scheme?

Re: Almostnormal on BBC1?

Dunno but I was very impressed by a freckled beauty showing me Corn Cockles and upstaging a beautiful flower

Re: Almostnormal on BBC1?

I've met Helen Morley, the warden from Ranscombe. She's an absolute whizz at botany and the reserve is very worth a visit. And it only takes me 10mins to get there!

Almostnormal on BBC1

Edit: Merged from a separate thread

Couldn't see if anyone else had discussed this so..

Did anyone see Sarah (almostnormal) on the 'In your area' section of Nature of Britain'?? She was discussing some volunteer work representing the RSPB on the BBC NW show. I hope it was her anyway now or else I'll feel a bit silly for mentioning it!
If it was you then congrats!! Will you still talk to us now your famous??

Re: Almostnormal on BBC1

I have to ask Sarah...did you hear that yellowhammer or did they add that in at the edit?

You often see wildlife presenters say something like 'oooh, oooh, oooh, look over there, it's a Peregrine' then they ram their eyes in their binos, but they show us some footage that doesn't look as though it was shot on the same day or even the same location

Re: Almostnormal on BBC1

the fame hasn't gone to my head yet, so far no entourage or ridiculous diva behaviour. and as my boss pointed out, it was hardly a long segment. thanks boss! on the other hand it made my site visit today more interesting because they all recognised me!

and that yellowhammer really was there, and it really did sing as she was saying '...in fact i can hear a yellowhammer....' it was obviously feeling generous, because usually they sing right up until you need to record them apparently!
