| | | Re: my babys that are not here any more, Sorry you didn't get the pics up Naturelover. I don't know which cat it is you have posted but she looks like a lovely mothering cat. I have four cats. Two are sister & brother Tia & Toby, and we now have two strays who have choosen to move in and it's one big happy family. There names are lucy (derived from Lucky) who we thought was a female and turn out to be the other way round but we still call him lucy and he's happy. Then theres Figsy, he came all matted up and she turned out to be a girl cat. As for the bird population in the garden it's hubbub as the cats are often to busy resting on the roof, in the living room, anywhere for that matter really. they are so loving and most of my days pushing them around in the wheel barrow when i'm busy in the garden!
So is it just Cockertiels now or do you have other pets also?

| | | Re: my babys that are not here any more, hi jez the photoe is of kissy, funny you should say she looks like a mothering cat she was,she was hit by a car when she was a year old and broke her pelvis, she couldnt walk but she dragged herself home after being missing for 48hours,never exspected to see her again, rushed her to the vets he said she had broken her pelvis and she had to be pampered to get her over it,i fed her chicken and Rabbit and made sure she could reach a dirt tray, the little darling didnt mess on the floor once, but she was a long time getting better then one day in the market was this tiny kitten for sale £5 so i got her, pure black and tiny, called her tiddles because she kept weeing on the floor when she was a babe, when i got home i showed kissy she started washing her straight away even allowed her to suckle her, from that day my kissy got better and lived to 13 years old,i will try to post again but will i get told off if i keep making booboos. |

| | | Re: my babys that are not here any more, Hi Naturelover, nice photo's of the pets. I'm more a dog lover as I'm allergic to cats.
What I find amazing about your photo's is that you are 61. If you don't mind me saying, you don't evenlook half that age, unless they are very old photos.
Good genes, living, what's your secret ?? |

| | | Re: my babys that are not here any more, this is a message for jezz,i tryed to tell you this last night but i did something wrong getting the pictures up,well graham sorted it for me, now i will tell you the story that i tryed to tell you last night, kissy the eldest cat ( the one on the photoe with the kitten )she got hit by a car when she was a year old,she was missing for 48 hours thought i would never see her again, somehow she got home,i took her to the vets she had broken her pelvis and couldnt walk,he said you have got to pamper her for her to get over this,i got her home made sure she was comfy got her a dirt tray and fed her on Rabbit and chicken, she made it to the dirt tray every time didnt dirty the floor once, over the weeks she didnt seem interested in anything, then one day down the market i saw a pure black kitten for sale £5 i thought i wonder,so i bought her and took her home, kissy took to her straight away and started washing her also let her suckle her, well after that day kissy started getting better,if you look at the photoe of the cats on the bed you can see the contentment on kissys face bless her.Anyway she got over her ordeal and lived to thirteen years old.Well i think i had better go now got to get the dinner see you all later. |
