I was fully laden with a front and rear bergen, about 60 litres in total, just to get it 'fitted', as it were so now the straps etc are adjusted very nicely. My boots did me proud too, very comfy.
I shall be up there again very soon. |

| | | Re: A very happy Boddie Yeah I did not see any of them. Havent seen the news but word up there is that the swan was 'deed' already and was washed up deed on the beach. The locals reckon that it died elsewhere and the currents brought it to shore. |

| | | Re: A very happy Boddie No I did not camp. I was staying with family so returned every night.
I took all of the kit so that I could get it fitted properly and so that I could get a good workout. I was able to carry another 20 kilos, all my camping gear on my back, including the thermarest, sleeping bag etc and all my camera gear, binos etc in the front bergan, plus some extra clothes. Its the first time I tried the bergan on the back and the webbing for the front together but it worked out very well. Now I know that when I need to rely on it it will be good for the weekend - a good long mountain trek some weekend soon. Hopefully Scotland again |
