Something picked up on Wildlife and Environment Forum but probably also relates to wildlife 'planning' elsewhere.
Sign Up Read this carefully - there is clearly and absolute lack of understanding of all aspects of this problem/solution .... motorists most concerned at being able to drive faster on the motorway, naturalists doing their inept bit to save wildlife, planners with no idea about anything .... does it sound familiar?

Yes it does sound familiar, the first thing that springs to mind is the Yangtse river dolphin fiasco, spent all that money and time on meetings and a survey to tell the world they were extinct, then by accident found some.

As I've said earlier, I don't really believe in zoo's, but for preservation you can't beat them, they should really NOW start building a habitat to preserve the dolphins.
