I am pleased to be the first one to offer up my congratulations to Ollie-AKA Roger on reaching his 5,000th+ post.
Ollie and I joined WAB days apart and has been a kind, helpful and talented member ever since I have known him. He has helped me out on numerous occasions and is ALWAYS a gentleman. I had the privilege of meeting in him in person on the Priory Water meet and he's as nice a person in the flesh (not meant rudely!) as he is here on the web.
So well done Ollie/Roger. Hope Stu Knights you soon!

I'll happily agree with all that Jules said, I've met Roger and gone shooting with him on three occasions so far, with plenty more to come I hope.
He's excellent company and a real Gent. He lent me his lens whilst mine was being repaired, for which I'm extremely grateful.
Excellent images, never a bad word against anyone, a top class member in every way. |

Hi everyone, Just logged on for a quick look before going to the land of nod after the night shift and found this.

Seriously thanks for the kind comments everyone, WAB has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I have learnt so much and gained some new friends through it. Graham, Jules, and Ben to name but a few. Hope to meet more of you next year at any of the summer meetings I manage to get to.

Thanks to all the others who have replied to this thread since I last posted. Your comments are all very kind and I truly appreciate them all. I aim to be sticking around on WAB for as far as I or anyone else for that matter can see into the future so you will be seeing much more from me.
Just a quick thank you to Stu and all the others moderators, gallery editors and admin etc. They are the people along with some great members who make WAB what it is, the best wildlife site on the net.
