I did see this guy who did the voice for Mr Ben on another
programme a while back. Everytime he walked in and out of this room i
expected him to walk in with different set of clothes..

The Clangers was definitely my favourite. I also liked Hector's House and I'm sure I used to watch something called Hattie Town but nobody else seems to remember that so perhaps I dreamt it.

Yep, I do. I couldn't stand Andy Pandy but loved the Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men.

These were probably the first ever children's programmes on TV. Before that it was Listen with Mother

i was born in 1946 so i dont remember air raids,i do remember the coronation,the king died on the 6th of feb my sixth birthday,i do remember leaving the back door open with no fear.

White horses ! Reminds me of school holidays, tune was fab. Was always on with a few other things like Robinson Crusoe, Herge's adventures of Tin Tin and some swash buckling black and white thing. Oh and of course belle and sebastian Ah sigh !
